One more chance to hold you tight.

One more time to tell you.

That everything will be all right.

We all want that second chance,

To say what our hearts really feel.

Sometimes the words just won’t come,

It doesn’t make them any less real.

I will remember you with a smile.

While forever cloaked inside your love.

I know the angels are keeping watch,

While God’s precious plan unfolds from above.

As time will surely continue to move ahead.

In my heart I know one day we’ll meet again.

Where everything will be perfect and new.

Where broken hearts will instantly mend.

My memories will have to be enough to get me through,

Until once again we can truly be together
